Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals
12-Month Musical Theatre Development Programme
Terms & Conditions | September 2026 – August 2027
Our Programme Commitment
Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals is a 12-month musical theatre development programme from Angel Voice UK, designed to help children grow through singing, performance, drama, teamwork and confidence-building.
Every child matters within this programme.
Each child becomes an important part of the team, and the work we create throughout the year is developed around the children taking part. Regular attendance therefore matters not only to the individual child, but to the whole group.
We understand that children will sometimes have difficult days. There may be weeks when they feel tired, nervous, lack confidence or simply don't feel like coming.
We don't expect children to love every single week.
Part of what we want to teach through Learn, Sing, Shine is the value of commitment: gently supporting children through the more difficult moments so they have the opportunity to finish something they started and experience the pride of seeing what they can achieve.
We ask parents and guardians to work with us in encouraging that commitment.
This does not mean that a child's wellbeing should ever be ignored. If there is a genuine concern about your child's happiness, health, wellbeing or circumstances, we want you to talk to us. Angel Voice UK will always put the welfare of the child first and work with families wherever possible.
Learn. Sing. Shine. And discover what you're capable of.
1. Programme Year & Commitment
Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals operates as a 12-month programme, running from September 2026 to August 2027.
When a child joins the programme, their parent or guardian is committing to their child's place for the programme year.
Children joining after September will join the current programme year and their membership will still end in August 2027, ready for the new programme year to begin in September.
The programme has been designed around consistency, progression and teamwork. Children will work towards performances and outcomes throughout the year rather than attending a series of unrelated individual classes.
For this reason, we ask families to view enrolment as a commitment to the programme rather than a pay-as-you-go activity.
2. Monthly Programme Fee
The cost of Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals is £46 per month.
Payments are made monthly throughout the programme year.
The monthly payment secures your child's place within the programme and contributes towards the continued delivery and development of the programme.
It is not a payment for an individual number of sessions within a particular month.
Therefore, the monthly fee remains payable if your child misses a session because of illness, holidays, family commitments or other personal circumstances.
3. How Payments Must Be Made
Payments must be made through the official Angel Voice UK website/payment system using the appropriate payment link provided.
Please do not set up your own standing order or alternative payment arrangement unless this has been specifically agreed with Angel Voice UK.
Using the official payment system allows us to ensure that payments are recorded correctly and allocated to the correct programme and child.
4. Attendance & Being Part of the Team
Regular attendance is an important part of Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals.
Every child has an important place within the team.
Throughout the programme, children may be learning songs, harmonies, choreography, scenes, dialogue, staging and performance material that involves other members of the group.
When one child is absent, their place within that work is noticed and it can affect the other children who are rehearsing alongside them.
We therefore ask parents and guardians to make regular attendance a priority wherever reasonably possible.
We completely understand that genuine illness and unavoidable circumstances happen. We simply ask that Angel Voice UK is informed as soon as possible when your child cannot attend.
5. Supporting Children Through Difficult Weeks
There may be occasions when a child says they don't want to attend, particularly when they are tired, experiencing a dip in confidence or finding something challenging.
One of the values behind Learn, Sing, Shine is helping children discover what can happen when they continue with something they have started.
We therefore encourage parents and guardians to support their child through those temporary difficult moments rather than immediately withdrawing them from the programme.
Sometimes the greatest confidence comes from being able to look back and say: “I nearly gave up, but I kept going – and look what I achieved.”
However, this will never override a genuine concern about a child's welfare. If something has changed or your child is experiencing ongoing difficulties, please speak to us so that we can understand what is happening and support them appropriately.
6. Performances
Performances are an important part of the Learn, Sing, Shine experience and give children an opportunity to see the results of the work they have put in.
Where possible, parents and guardians will be given advance notice of planned performances.
Because songs, scenes, staging and performance material may be created around individual children, please tell Angel Voice UK as early as possible if you know your child will be unable to participate in a planned performance.
This gives the coaches time to make appropriate changes without unnecessarily affecting the other children.
7. Workshops & Member Discount
Additional Angel Voice UK workshops are not included within the £46 monthly programme fee and will be charged separately.
Children who are active members of Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals will receive a 10% Angel Voice Kids Member Discount on eligible Angel Voice UK workshops.
Workshop places may need to be booked separately and will be subject to the individual terms, availability and arrangements for that workshop.
8. Free Angel Voice Choir Membership – Ages 12 to 18
As an additional benefit of being part of Angel Voice Kids, active members aged 12 to 18 are welcome to sing with the Angel Voice Choir free of charge.
This benefit continues while the young person remains an active member of the Angel Voice Kids programme, up to the age of 18.
This gives our older young performers an additional opportunity to develop their voices, musicianship, confidence and experience of singing as part of a wider ensemble.
9. Missed Sessions & Refunds
Monthly payments are not reduced or refunded because of sessions missed by an individual child.
Payments secure the child's ongoing place within the programme and support the delivery of the programme across the full year.
Payments are therefore non-refundable for sessions missed due to personal circumstances, holidays, illness or a decision not to attend.
If a session has to be cancelled by Angel Voice UK, we will communicate with parents and guardians regarding the arrangements applicable to that cancellation.
10. Leaving the Programme Early
When joining Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals, families are making a commitment to the programme year.
We therefore ask parents and guardians not to simply stop or cancel their monthly payments if their child decides they no longer wish to attend. Please speak directly with Angel Voice UK first.
We recognise that family circumstances can genuinely change. Significant illness, relocation, financial hardship or another serious change in circumstances may mean that completing the programme is no longer reasonably possible.
In exceptional circumstances, Angel Voice UK may agree to release a family from the remainder of their programme commitment following a conversation with the parent or guardian.
Any such arrangement must be agreed directly with Angel Voice UK before payments are stopped.
Where a child is simply experiencing a temporary loss of confidence or motivation, we would like the opportunity to work with the child and family first and see whether we can help them through that stage.
11. Mobile Phones & Emergency Communication
To support concentration, participation and the learning environment, children are not permitted to use mobile phones during Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals sessions.
Phones should be switched off or kept securely away for the duration of the session.
Children should not use their phones to make calls, send messages, access social media, take photographs or videos, or communicate with parents, family or friends during the session.
We want the children to have this time away from their devices so that they can be fully present, interact with the other children and coaches, and concentrate on singing, drama, movement and performance.
Emergency Contact
The group leader will have access to their mobile phone throughout the session for safeguarding and emergency purposes.
If there is an emergency and you need to reach your child during a session, please send a message through the designated Angel Voice Kids group chat. The group leader will receive the message and will inform your child appropriately.
Children therefore do not need access to their own mobile phones during sessions in order for parents or guardians to reach them.
The group chat during session times should be used for urgent or emergency communication only. General questions and non-urgent messages should be sent outside teaching and rehearsal time wherever possible.
This policy allows our coaches to give the children their full attention while providing parents and guardians with a reliable way of making contact if something genuinely requires immediate attention.
12. Parent & Child Code of Conduct
Angel Voice UK is committed to creating an environment in which children feel safe, included, encouraged and able to express themselves.
All children and their parents or guardians will be expected to follow the separate Angel Voice Kids Parent & Child Code of Conduct, which will be provided as part of the joining and welcome process.
The Code of Conduct will include expectations around kindness and respect; behaviour during sessions and performances; bullying and inappropriate behaviour; compliance with the mobile phone policy; communication; attendance and punctuality; safeguarding and wellbeing; and supporting the positive and inclusive values of Angel Voice UK.
Angel Voice UK reserves the right to address behaviour that is disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe or significantly affects the wellbeing or experience of another child.
Wherever appropriate, concerns will be discussed with the child and their parent or guardian so that we can work together towards a positive solution.
The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care will always be our priority.
13. Communication
Good communication between Angel Voice UK and parents or guardians is an important part of the programme.
If your child's circumstances change, they are struggling with the programme, they are unable to attend, or you have concerns about their experience, please speak to us.
We would always prefer a conversation rather than discovering that a child has stopped attending or that payments have simply been cancelled.
Our aim is to work with families and support each child throughout their Learn, Sing, Shine journey.
During teaching sessions, communication through the group chat should be reserved for emergencies or urgent matters in accordance with our Mobile Phones & Emergency Communication policy.
14. Agreement
By enrolling your child in Angel Voice Kids – Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals and making payment through the official Angel Voice UK payment system, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You acknowledge that the programme is a 12-month commitment from September 2026 to August 2027, with monthly payments of £46.
You understand that additional workshops are charged separately and that eligible active members receive a 10% discount on eligible Angel Voice UK workshops.
You agree to communicate directly with Angel Voice UK regarding any significant concerns, changes in circumstances or requests to leave the programme early rather than simply cancelling payments.
You also agree that you and your child will follow the Angel Voice Kids Parent & Child Code of Conduct, including the programme's mobile phone and communication policy.
Welcome to Learn, Sing, Shine: In Musicals
At Angel Voice UK, we don't just want children to learn songs.
We want them to learn what their voice can do, discover what they can do, experience being part of a team and have the opportunity to stand at the end of something they committed to and say:
“I did it.”
Learn. Sing. Shine.
